Find your block
The foundation block. Athletes build aerobic capacity, reinforce movement mechanics, and develop general strength. Ideal entry point for new athletes and those returning after a break.
Athletes who have completed a base block are ready to layer in explosive strength work. This block introduces plyometrics, med ball circuits, and speed-strength drills alongside continued base development.
A focused four-week bridge block that sharpens athletes for the spring outdoor season. Emphasis on speed mechanics, block starts, and event-specific preparation.
The primary competitive season. Athletes train for TAAF, UIL, and AAU meets. Training shifts toward speed, power expression, and race execution. This is where the work pays off.
The championship block. Athletes peak for TAAF Regional and State Championships, AAU Nationals, and USATF Junior Olympics. High-intensity, competition-focused training.
A deliberate deload and reset block after the championship season. Athletes recover, address weaknesses, and rebuild the aerobic base before the fall cycle begins again.

The Indoor Season is an add-on to any active training block. Athletes must be enrolled in the Speed & Performance Programs to participate.
Lone Star Showcase
Twice a year, athletes take the stage. The Lone Star Showcase is our signature event — a high-energy competition that brings together performance, preparation, and opportunity.
End-of-spring-block showcase. Athletes compete across all events after a full training cycle.
End-of-fall-block showcase. A second chance to perform, improve, and be seen before the indoor season.
