Our athletes stepped onto a statewide championship stage and delivered one of the strongest team showings in our program's history.

Championship Environment

Largest & Fastest Meet Ever Recorded

This year's Games of Texas set new statewide benchmarks. 288 teams competed — the highest participation ever recorded. Podium marks were the fastest and strongest in TAAF championship history. 30 TAAF records were broken or tied across sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, and relays. This was not a local meet or a regional meet — it was the highest level of youth competition in Texas.

Our athletes delivered a complete, balanced team performance across all event groups — sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, and mid distance. Multiple Top 15 finishes across divisions. Competitive marks in every event group. Confident relay execution. Clear technical improvement from early season benchmarks. This meet validated the strength of our event-specific training model.

Elite Field, Tight Margins

Sprint and hurdle podiums were exceptionally fast. Margins between medalists were extremely tight. Field event podiums showed high power and advanced technique. Distance podiums demonstrated tactical pacing and race maturity. Our athletes competed directly against the strongest statewide talent TAAF has ever assembled.

30 new TAAF records were set at this meet — broken or tied in nearly every age division, across sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, and relays. Statewide performance standards are rising rapidly. Texas youth track continues to evolve, and this meet showcased just how advanced the statewide field has become.
