Week 8 — Mini Combine

Measure What Matters. Train With Purpose.

Real data. Real feedback. A clear plan for getting faster, stronger, and more explosive.

The Mini Combine Is Week 8

The Mini Combine is not a standalone event — it is the closing anchor of every 8-week training block. It runs on the same Saturday as the Event-Specific Clinic, giving athletes a complete performance snapshot at the exact moment their body has peaked from the block's Unload → Load → Overload progression. Results directly inform placement and programming for the next block.

We use the same gold-standard metrics trusted by elite sprint coaches, college programs, and professional performance systems. Every athlete receives a complete speed and power profile that guides their training for the next 8–16 weeks. This is not a "fun day." This is a development day — and it's one of the most important parts of our program.

What We Test

Four gold-standard metrics that give us the clearest picture of an athlete's speed and power.

10m Sprint

The single best test of force expression and first-step explosiveness.

AccelerationProjectionHorizontal Force

Fly-10

The cleanest measure of top-end speed and upright mechanics.

Max-VelocityElastic QualitiesStiffness

Broad Jump

Pairs perfectly with the 10m to show how well an athlete produces force forward.

Horizontal PowerProjection Ability

Vertical Jump

Pairs perfectly with the Fly-10 to show how elastic and reactive an athlete is.

Elastic PowerReactive Strength

Together, these four tests give us a complete force–velocity profile for every athlete.

Why We Test This Way

Speed isn't random — it's measurable.

  • How your athlete accelerates
  • How fast they run at top speed
  • How powerfully they produce force
  • Whether they're force-dominant or velocity-dominant
  • Which training block they need next
  • How they're progressing over time

This is the same model used by elite sprint coaches and performance programs.

What Athletes Receive

Every athlete leaves the Mini Combine with:

  • A full speed & power profile

    10m • Fly-10 • Broad Jump • Vertical Jump

  • A force–velocity classification

    Force • Velocity • Elastic

  • A training block assignment

The exact emphasis they need for the next 8–16 weeks.

  • A parent-friendly progress report

Clear, simple, and easy to understand.

  • Video clips (when available)

Acceleration and upright mechanics for review.

This is the roadmap that guides their development.

Who Should Attend

  • Youth athletes (ages 11–13)
  • High school athletes (ages 14–18)
  • Multi-sport athletes
  • Any athlete who wants to get faster

If speed matters in your sport, this Combine matters.

How the Day Works

  1. 1

    Warm-Up & Prep

    Dribbles • Pogos • A-Runs • Build-ups

  2. 2

    Gold-Standard Testing

    Vertical Jump → Broad Jump → 10m → Fly-10

  3. 3

    Optional Advanced Tests

    30m • Fly-20 • Fly-30 (for older, advanced athletes)

  4. 4

    Cool Down & Review

Coaches confirm data and block assignments.

  5. 5

    Parent Summary

We explain what we tested, why it matters, and what comes next.

Why It Matters

The Mini Combine is the backbone of our program because it:

  • Removes guesswork
  • Tracks real progress
  • Individualizes training
  • Builds athlete confidence
  • Shows parents exactly what's improving
  • Prepares athletes for showcases and tryouts

This is how long-term athletic development is supposed to work.

Soccer Parent

My son went from 1.10s to 1.03s in the Fly-10. That 0.07s made the difference at tryouts — coaches noticed immediately.

Basketball Parent

She gained separation on drives and closed gaps on defense. Recruiters said her improvement was undeniable.

Track Parent

Having real numbers to track made all the difference. We could see the improvement week to week — not just feel it.

Multi-Sport Parent

We finally had something concrete to show his coaches — not just 'he's been working hard,' but actual numbers and what they mean.

Pricing & Capacity

Tiered pricing keeps the Mini Combine accessible while rewarding program commitment.

Base+ Members
