Monthly Clinic Series

Monthly Skills & Speed Clinics

Deep-dive skill sessions for Youth (ages 10–13) and High School (ages 14–18) athletes. One key skill. Two age tracks. Every month.

Youth: Ages 10–13
High School: Ages 14–18
2nd Saturday of every month
One key athletic skill per month

Focused Skill Development, Every Month

Each Monthly Clinic targets one essential athletic skill — acceleration, jumping, agility, strength, mobility, coordination, or testing. Athletes train in age-specific tracks (Youth 10–13 and High School 14–18) to ensure safe, appropriate, and effective coaching. Whether your athlete is new to training or preparing for higher-level performance, each clinic delivers clear instruction, purposeful drills, and measurable improvement.

Two Age-Specific Tracks

Youth Track

Ages 10-13

Age-appropriate drills and progressions that build confidence, coordination, and foundational mechanics.

High School Track

Ages 14–18

Higher-level progressions, sport-specific application, and performance-focused coaching.

12-Month Curriculum

Every clinic builds on the last. Every skill connects to the next.

January

Sprint Starts & Acceleration

Explosive first steps, projection, and early speed.

  • Proper starting positions
  • First-step mechanics
  • Projection angle & shin angles
  • Push length & horizontal force
  • Acceleration rhythm (steps 1–10)

Why it matters: The first 10 meters determine overall speed potential. This clinic builds the foundation for all sprinting and field-sport movement.

Feeds directly into Force Block development and 10m testing.

February

Jumping Mechanics

Learn to jump higher, farther, and safer.

  • Takeoff mechanics
  • Landing technique
  • Arm swing coordination
  • Elastic rhythm
  • Horizontal vs. vertical force

Why it matters: Jumping ability is tied to speed, power, and injury prevention.

Supports Broad Jump, Vertical Jump, and power development.

March

Agility & Change of Direction

Quickness, body control, and efficient movement.

  • Cutting mechanics
  • Deceleration technique
  • Hip & torso control
  • Foot placement patterns
  • Reactive agility

Why it matters: Agility is essential for all field and court sports.

Builds the foundation for sport-specific movement and injury-resistant mechanics.

April

Core Strength & Stability

Stronger core = better speed, posture, and power.

  • Bracing & posture
  • Anti-rotation strength
  • Hip stability
  • Sprint-specific core patterns
  • Balance & control

Why it matters: A strong core improves speed, reduces injury risk, and enhances overall athleticism.

Supports every training block and improves movement quality.

May

Max Velocity Mechanics

Top-end speed, upright running, and elastic stride.

  • Upright sprint posture
  • Front-side mechanics
  • Step frequency & stride timing
  • Elastic stiffness
  • Ground contact efficiency

Why it matters: Max velocity is one of the strongest predictors of overall athletic performance.

Pairs with Fly-10 testing and Velocity Block development.

June

Mobility & Recovery

Move better, feel better, perform better.

  • Dynamic mobility
  • Joint-friendly movement
  • Recovery habits
  • Flexibility for speed
  • Breathing & relaxation techniques

Why it matters: Mobility improves mechanics, reduces injury risk, and supports long-term development.

Perfect mid-year reset before summer training.

July

Acceleration Reload

A deeper dive into acceleration with advanced progressions.

  • Faster first steps
  • Stronger projection
  • Improved force application
  • Smoother transition to upright running
  • Advanced acceleration drills

Why it matters: Acceleration wins races, beats defenders, and creates separation.

Builds on January's clinic with higher-level progressions.

August

Jump Reload

Advanced jumping mechanics for power and explosiveness.

  • Multi-directional jumping
  • Reactive plyometrics
  • Faster takeoff mechanics
  • Landing under fatigue
  • Power rhythm & timing

Why it matters: Jumping ability is a key indicator of speed and power.

Prepares athletes for fall sports and power testing.

September

Agility Reload

Sharper cuts, quicker reactions, and better control.

  • Faster deceleration
  • Multi-angle cuts
  • Reactive agility
  • Sport-specific movement patterns
  • Footwork under pressure

Why it matters: Agility separates good athletes from great ones.

Perfect for in-season athletes needing clean, efficient movement.

October

Strength & Power

Age-appropriate strength training for speed and durability.

  • Bodyweight strength
  • Sprint-specific power
  • Safe resistance training
  • Explosive coordination
  • Injury-resistant mechanics

Why it matters: Strength is the foundation for speed, power, and long-term development.

Supports Force Block and Elastic Block progressions.

November

Speed & Coordination

Smooth, efficient, athletic movement.

  • Rhythm & timing
  • Coordination patterns
  • Multi-directional speed
  • Footwork sequences
  • Sprint-to-agility transitions

Why it matters: Coordination is the gateway to advanced athletic skills.

Great for younger athletes and a tune-up for older ones.

December

Mini Combine & Goal Setting

Test. Measure. Learn. Plan.

  • 10m sprint
  • Fly-10
  • Broad jump
  • Vertical jump
  • Agility test
  • Movement quality review

Why it matters: Testing shows real progress and sets the stage for the next year.

Parents receive a progress summary, block assignment, and goal-setting recommendations.
