Max velocity mechanics are your primary limiter. This blueprint prioritizes stride frequency, elastic stiffness, and upright sprint mechanics — the exact qualities that raise your top-speed ceiling and let you hold it longer.

KEY PRINCIPLES

The rules that govern every session in this blueprint.

Max velocity is trained — not just expressed. Flying runs, wickets, and frequency ladders are the primary tools.

Elastic stiffness is the engine — ankle stiffness, RSI, and ground contact time drive top-speed output.

Upright mechanics must be drilled: tall posture, high hips, relaxed shoulders, pawback foot strike.

Speed endurance extends the ceiling — athletes must learn to hold top speed, not just reach it.

Plyometrics are reactive and unilateral from Week 1 — bilateral loaded work is secondary here.
