A predictable, year‑round development system for athletes ages 6–18. 

WEEKLY TRAINING SCHEDULE

Summer Competition Team (April–July)

Training + Meets

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays
  • 6:00–8:00 PM
  • Saturday meets (AAU/USATF/TAAF)
  • Focus: event‑specific development, race modeling, competitive readiness

Middle & High School Speed, Power & Sports Performance (Ages 13–18)

Runs in 12‑week cohorts

  • Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays
  • 6:30–8:00 PM
  • Focus: acceleration, max‑velocity, speed endurance, strength, power, movement quality

Youth Speed & Strength (Ages 10–12)

Runs in 12‑week cohorts

  • Monday & Wednesday, Tuesdays & Thursdays
  • 5:30–6:30 PM
  • Focus: balance, coordination, foundational strength, speed & landing mechanics, confidence

JANUARY — New Year, New Speed

  • Theme: Goal‑setting, acceleration, movement quality
  • Events: Q1 Mini Combine, Speed Reset Clinic
  • Actions: Launch Winter Cycle

FEBRUARY — Acceleration Month

  • Theme: Projection, sled work, force development
  • Events: Acceleration Clinic, Parent Education Night

MARCH — Spring Speed Prep

  • Theme: Power, mobility, confidence
  • Events: Lone Star TFC Testing; Start Practice (12U & Younger)
  • Actions: End‑of‑cycle progress reports

APRIL — Spring Testing & Re Evaluation

  • Theme: Data, retesting, elastic power
  • Events: Q2 Mini Combine 
  • Events: Lone Star TFC Start Practice (14U & Up)
  • Actions: Parent‑friendly testing explanations

MAY — Showcase Prep

  • Theme: Max velocity, elastic power
  • Events: Showcase Prep Meets

JUNE — Annual Showcase Month

  • Theme: Performance, competition, celebration
  • Events: Annual Plios Athletics Houston Regional, Summer Speed Season Kickoff
  • Actions: End‑of‑cycle progress reports

JULY — Summer Speed Explosion

  • Theme: Velocity, elasticity, conditioning
  • Events: Championship Season, Summer Speed Camp, Youth Fundamentals Camp
  • Actions: Launch new 12‑week cycle

AUGUST — Back to School, Back to Speed

  • Theme: Acceleration, strength, durability
  • Events: Back‑to‑School Speed Clinic

SEPTEMBER — Fall Testing & Re Evaluation

  • Theme: Data, progress, retesting
  • Events: Q3 Mini Combine

OCTOBER — Fall Speed & Strength

  • Theme: Strength, projection, horizontal force
  • Events: Fall Break Speed Camp

NOVEMBER — Holiday Retention Month

  • Theme: Gratitude, community, consistency
  • Events: Thanksgiving Speed Clinic

DECEMBER — Year End Testing & Celebration
